Support for a solar power plant with storage - without ESO conditions

Benefit from up to €5012 for a solar power plant and storage, where the grid is allowed to generate no more than 1 kW.

Applications will be accepted until 28 November 2025.

How much compensation you can get for a solar power plant with storage

The amount of support depends on the technology chosen.

(Most common choice)

Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) storage is a reliable, long-lasting solution, and is the most common choice for homes.

What are the requirements for support?

Solar power plant and storage installed from 2025 m. 1 September.

5 kW solar power plant.

10 kWh energy storage.

Authorisation from ESO to generate up to 1 kW to the grid .

Some important things to know before applying:

  • You can also choose a more powerful power plant or storage unit, but you will only be compensated up to 5 kW and 10 kWh.

  • A solar power plant or an electricity storage facility alone is not eligible forseparate funding.

  • The application can only be submitted once the power plant and storage facility are fully installed by 1 September 2025.

  • The solar power plant and the storage device must be connected to the same electricity grid on the same site.

  • No support is granted if you have already received funding for the same installations (except for remote power plants).

Who will be eligible for support?

Check if you meet the eligibility criteria:

You are a private person who owns an apartment, house, garden or holiday home registered with the Centre of Registers.

You have an existing solar power plant (not a fleet of plants) connected to the same electricity inlet as the storage device.

The equipment was purchased and installed after 1 September 2025 – the equipment was new and unused at the time of purchase.

The installation has been declared to ESO – the solar power plant and the storage tank were installed by a certified contractor and registered with ESO.

You have all the documents supporting the purchase and installation of the equipment (see. See Documents required for the grant).

No support is granted if the entire capacity of your power plant is allocated to other (remote) sites.

Unfortunately not – compensation is only available for those already installed and declared to ESO.
This means that you will need to install the storage unit first at your own expense, and then you will be able to apply for compensation when the call is launched.

It usually takes several to several decades from the approval of the application to the disbursement. This depends on the pace of work of the APVA.

Unfortunately, no. The support is limited to residents with a solar power plant or a remote part of a power plant and the status of a generating consumer.

Yes, if you own a flat and have a solar or wind farm (or part of it) connected to the same electricity supply as the storage device.

Yes, if at least part of the power generated by your power plant is allocated to the home where the storage will be installed.

No support is granted if the entire capacity of the plant is allocated only to other (distant) sites – e.g. if the entire capacity is allocated to another house, or only to the part of the solar park used at another address.

You have to submit your application in APVIS by logging in with your own credentials (e.g. Smart-ID). We will guide you step by step to make sure it is filled in correctly.
