Charging an electric car in an apartment building | Webinar for residents
More and more electric cars are being registered in Lithuania every year. Data show that as many as 70% of the EU’s population is in the EU. EV charging takes place at home. This makes the issue of convenient home charging particularly relevant.
While installing a charging station is not a complicated process for owners of private houses, it is much more challenging for residents of apartment buildings. For example, how do you connect a bus stop to your personal meter if it is not on the ground floor or even in another building? How do I increase the power of the input? Where do I start to get neighbours’ consents and other permissions, and do I need them at all? Such processes cause a lot of headaches for many EV owners.
But there is a way out! We are introducing a new service that effectively addresses charging challenges in apartment blocks – charging station rental.
If you are interested in charging your electric car in an apartment block, this webinar is about it. You will also learn about:
- Charging rental service. How it works, what is needed, what the whole infrastructure in the apartment block would look like;
- What are the administrative processes involved and who would be responsible for them;
- What are the steps to setting up a charging station;
- How much everything costs;
- How your employer can reimburse you for the cost of EV charging electricity consumed in your home;
