11 September The first edition of the Charged Up’21 an event to celebrate the World Electric Vehicle Day, bringing together the largest number of EVs in one gathering. During the event, participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest innovations in electric transport, test electric motorcycles, scooters and cars, and take part in a new Lithuanian record. Below you can see the main culprits of the meeting – electric cars and their abundance, as well as comments from the event organisers.
It is also very pleasing that the event set a Lithuanian record for the most EVs in one place!
A total of 94 EVs gathered to celebrate the increasingly important day 🚙🔌
Many thanks to the electric car enthusiasts who came and contributed to the achievement and the event.
Thank you also to the sponsors: Peugeot, Citroën and CityBee and partners FirstEv, Deals On Wheels LT, LITEXPO, EPBAR and the Environmental Project Management Agency, for making the event so enjoyable for the guests🎈.
“The idea of Charged Up’21 was born as a nice, educational initiative to introduce the public to the electric car industry and its benefits. So we hope that this project will continue as a nice annual tradition, as electric cars are the near future, complementing everyday life. And perhaps the growing family of “electric cars” will make Lithuania’s record even better.
